continued from C-Candy (26 X 26)
“Oh! You could have said so from the start. Now, I am craving for some and for just that reason I want to live. There you have my decision…whew…it wasn’t that tough, was it? So, should I just leave now?”
“Really! I mean really! You want to live for eating candy?”
“Yes, why not? It is as good a reason as any. Don’t you think so?”
“It doesn’t matter what I think, okay. If that’s what you want then go, live, and eat candies.”
“Cool! It was nice meeting you, man… I’ll see you around sometime.”… “Huh! I can’t open the exit door. Is there some other way, which you didn’t tell me about?”
“No, that means you haven’t decided. I told you ‘eating candies’ is no reason to live. Think again and fast.”
“You said it didn’t matter what you think! Now, don’t bug me and let me think.”… “By the way, I noticed just now, why this bar looks like Santa threw up in here? Every corner is decorated and it isn’t even Christmas yet!”
“Seriously kid! You need to think and the decoration is due to Bells, she is …well, as her name says…Bells. She is always in Christmas spirits and thinks that it makes humans who get stuck here, like you, happy.”
“She sounds sweet and cute, can I meet her?”
“NO! Think about your life, think about why and how you ended up in that brawl. You need to take this seriously.”
“Okay man, cool down. Should I tell you about my life?”
“No, I don’t want to know. Think quietly, inside your head and then have some sort of epiphany and you’ll have your decision.”
“Epiphany? Wow, that’s huge! I’ll try. But tell me this last thing, which is better- life or death?”
“How would I know that, kid? I was never alive and I will never be dead. In the initial days, I wanted to be alive, like humans are, but then I saw what sick-twisted mind majority of your kind has, so I gave up on the whole institution of humanity.”
“Hmm…But, why did you want to be alive, initially?”
“I wanted to… (to be continued tomorrow)
