Entangled: A Saga of Love, Loss and Life

Dhara, born as a princess is everything but that. With a special connection with animals and extraordinarily developed natural instincts, she knows how to protect herself and is fiercely protective of her kingdom.

In a time when all what a prince needs to be is a fierce warrior, Anirudh believes that battles are won in minds and not by brute strength. With a vast knowledge and intellect as his best suit, he is better equipped to be a philosopher than a regular king.

What will happen when the paths of these two misfits will collide? What will happen when everything they love is at stake? Will they be able to protect their people and keep their promises? Will they be able to make sense of the entangled mess that is their life?

Greetings lovely readers! As promised earlier, I have decided to share my WIP novel with you all. I am a pantser i.e. I don’t plan my stories or novels beforehand, rather I tend to weave the story as I write. Therefore, this outline is the (very) broad representation of the story and I don’t really know what exactly the genre will be. But I’ll try my best to make it interesting! This is the first story I am writing this year and I hope you will like it.

All the chapters will be the first draft and at least 1000 words in length. So, I’ll try to post once a week or every ten days. I’ll post the first chapter by the next weekend and am looking forward to know what you think of it.

  1. Omg!!!! This sounds amazing. Exciting… I wish I could write novels. Maybe some day. :)) I did do Nanowrimo a couple of times (and I’m a pantser too) but it was just more writing, not a coherent story. Look forward to reading some of yours… :))) Loved (loved!!!) your previous romantic fiction. Yes! Ok can’t wait. Yay! 🎉🎉🎉

    1. Your comments are the best motivation and inspiration for me, dearest! Really!THANK YOU!
This is my first time as well, I started a few but never got around to finishing anyone, so thought that maybe this way I’ll be able to complete it and more importantly learn a few things about writing a longer piece. Hopefully, it will turnout readable 😅.
Oooh, Nanowrimo! I’ve been wanting to participate in that for last year but couldn’t. How was your experience with it? I would love to read some of yours if you ever decided to share.
Being a pantser is the only way I could write a story, if somehow I already planned the whole story in my head then I wouldn’t bother writing it down 🤣.
Let’s see how it pans out.
Thanks a tonne for your always uplifting comments, Lia, it is very helpful. xoxxo 🙏🙏❤❤

      1. “Being a pantser is the only way I could write a story, if somehow I already planned the whole story in my head then I wouldn’t bother writing it down 🤣.” PERFECT SUMMATION!!! 🤣 — and a good reminder for me as well. I should just get started. I’m curious to see how your story develops this way, I think it’s a great, well actually perfect method to try. As for me, I succeeded in the 50k words two times, and the third time I just gave up halfway in because I went in a sort of half-a**ed way to begin with. You have to be dedicated from the outset to completeing the goal, whatever that is. My method was to complete 1677 words per day for the 30 days (“slow and stead wins the race”). And the best time for me was the first time I tried, since I was living in a city. I met once with a local group of fellow NaNoWriMo participants to do a “write-in” and it was the most fascinating thing. Having a bunch of introverts just sitting near each other, barely interacting, just writing was quite something, haha. Gave good energy.
Anyway, hopefully your community here can provide that similar kind of energy, so you can do some extended version of NaNo right here. Awesome idear. :)) xoxoxo

p.s. thanks for your kind words that make my day! :))

        1. Ha! Great that you agree, Lia. And you should definitely start if you have got some time on your hands. I’ll happily read your story. And yes, I am also very curious to see if I can actually write a novel this way. Wow! 50k, twice! That’s a huge feat, I haven’t written more than 7-8k on a single story that’s why I am trying it now. And you are absolutely correct dear, dedication is the biggest thing that is needed to complete the set goal and that’s the one thing I’m worried most about. 1677 words daily is not slow at all, girl! It is commendable, really. I wish I could do even 1k daily. Having an offline group sounds like the best thing, I think it must really help with consistency and positivity.
Yes, I hope I will be able to continue writing this and people will like reading this. (FIngers crossed)
ps: Your kind words also do the same and more for me, dear. Thank you 🙂

          1. I think any daily practice is good. I’ve tried and tried but I just seem to prefer poetry for now. I agree that an offline group would seem maybe to be the best thing? Or maybe not. I don’t know. And sometimes it’s not feasible. I love the way you’re doing this. And the first chapter was exciting to read. Rock on and read you next time, hopefully. :)) xoxo

            1. p.s. Now that I’m here again (and re: my comment on the next post) I see you already nicknamed her Dhara!!! My gods, I need another coffee… forgive me, I am over multi-tasking again. Hugs and love. I do mean well!! 🙄😩😅 xoxoxo :)))

              1. HaHa!..It’s okay, dearest Lia, there’s nothing to forgive. In fact, I am glad that you suggested the nicknames, you are always so helpful and good thing that they match, as now I will not have to choose and we can’t ignore what they say- intelligent minds think alike 😉
I know, always! Take some time to relax and don’t overdo the coffee. 😉
                love & kisses xoxox

            2. Yeah, absolutely! And I understand we all have our picks and man, I can’t believe how natural you are with poetry. It simply flows out from you, effortlessly. I could never do that.
True! It may also be a case of grass is greener on the other side. At the end writing is all up to the writer.
I tried to do it the traditional way, and it didn’t really work out for me, for now at least. Maybe it will in the future. So, I am trying it out this way, I hope this works. My only goal is to complete a full story line and have a first draft.
I am extremely glad to know that you enjoyed it, really.
Thank you (I can’t say this enough)
              love & sunshine xoxox
